ISLAMABAD: The JUI-F chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in view of the ‘Islamabad Talks’ and following meetings with a government delegation, has announced the postponement of the party’s countrywide protests scheduled for Friday.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah called on Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday. Later, the Minister for Interior, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, also met Fazl. Senators Maulana Attaur Rehman, Maulana Attaul Haq Darvesh and Allam Rashid Soomro were also present in the meetings.
