PESHAWAR: A vibrant worker of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Irfan Saleem has submitted nomination papers for the general seat in the Senate after the party approved his name as a candidate.The party has announced three covering candidates, Sajjad Mohmand, Ghulam Badshah and Sardar Khan, for the main contender.
Irfan Saleem, city president of the PTI, submitted his nomination papers to the Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday. Polling will be held in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on April 23 for a general seat in the Senate that fell vacant due to the disqualification of Murad Saeed.
