LAHORE:The Awami Rickshaw Union on Tuesday protested against ‘black-marketing’ LPG and its profiteering. They demanded that the sale of LPG be ensured at the official prices. The protest was led by the Central Chairman Majeed Ghauri and a large number of rickshaw drivers participated in the protest.

Addressing the protesters, Majeed Ghauri said LPG gas was being sold at Rs520 instead of Rs304. The prices of food items have increased by 150 percent. They demand that the sale of LPG be ensured at the official prices. They demanded the administration take notice of the black market for LPG and fix the price of the gas.
