KARACHI: Gold prices fell by Rs3,000 per tola on Tuesday, following a decline in the international bullion rates.The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) said 24-karat gold dropped to Rs488,462 per tola, while the price of 10-gram gold fell Rs2,572 to Rs418,777.
The prices dropped by $30 in international markets, where gold settled at $4,657 per ounce. Local prices in Pakistan are typically benchmarked to global rates with a premium of $20 per ounce.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs7,744. The 10-gram rate also stood the same at Rs6,639.
