Recent increases in petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan have once again created uncertainty among citizens. It is a harsh reality that whenever fuel prices rise, the cost of food and other basic necessities also increases. This makes survival extremely difficult for the poor. The government must seriously consider the condition of people who are barely surviving and living below the poverty line. Immediate and effective measures are needed to provide relief to the people.
