PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority has intensified its operations across the province to ensure the provision of safe and quality food, carrying out major actions in Mardan and Swat against substandard food items.
According to a spokesperson for the authority, a food safety team in Mardan conducted a raid on a juice production unit and recovered more than 200 cartons of substandard juice.
During the operation, low-quality packaging material used in the preparation of the juice was also confiscated.
