QUETTA: Three bullet-riddled bodies of unidentified individuals were recovered from different areas of Balochistan, including Jhal Magsi, Lasbela, and Pasni, and shifted to hospitals for medico-legal procedures, officials said on Sunday.
The body of an unidentified man was discovered in the Konra area of Jhal Magsi. Initial reports indicated that the victim had been shot dead by unknown assailants. Police moved the body to a nearby hospital, where it was placed in the morgue for identification after the completion of legal formalities.
In a separate incident, another unidentified body bearing multiple bullet wounds was recovered from the Lasbela district. Authorities shifted the body to hospital and kept it in the morgue as part of ongoing efforts to establish the victim’s identity and investigate the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Meanwhile, in Pasni, police recovered the body of a man from the Bank Charhai area. The deceased had also sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Police later identified him as Shai Haq, a resident of Blida. His body was transferred to hospital for post-mortem examination and other necessary procedures in accordance with the law.
Police officials confirmed that investigations have been launched into all three cases, with efforts underway to trace the perpetrators and determine the motives behind the killings.
In another incident, a man was shot dead in Chaman district. According to officials, unidentified attackers opened fire on a man on Roghani Road, killing him on the spot. The victim was shifted to hospital, where he was identified as Inayat. After the completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his heirs. Police stated that further investigations are in progress.
Separately, a motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident in the Nal area of Khuzdar district. Police said the accident occurred late Saturday night, resulting in the death of Ibrahim, a resident of Kalat. His body was shifted to hospital, while local authorities initiated necessary legal proceedings and began looking into the circumstances of the accident.
