LAHORE:PPP leader Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has said the new world order will be implemented for 50 years in which the United States and its allies will not be included.
The new world order will not have the idea, ‘I am Donald Trump and I can take whoever I want, I can destroy whichever country I want'.The PPP leader stated this while addressing a debate on US-Israel war on Iran organised by the Shaheed Bhutto Foundation at the People's Secretariat Model Town here on Thursday.
The debate was moderated by Chairperson SBF Asif Khan. Rana Ikram Rabbani, ShahidaJabeen, Bushra Malik, FarrukhSohailGondal, AimaIftikhar, Ammar Jan, Raza Ashfaq Sheikh also addressed the debate.
Aitzaz Ahsan said the Israel-US war on Iran will not only affect the Gulf countries, but will the entire world. He said oil is a commodity that every country has to take. He said this oil war will increase the demand for solar and wind energy sectors.
The former minister said that a big war is under way and ‘we have stopped a small war. ‘The war against Afghanistan is being fought against terrorism on its behalf, which is our right stance. We have given shelter to Afghans for forty years, built schools for them and done countless welfare works" he added.
He emphasised that India is funding Afghanistan. If third world countries want to move forward, ‘we will have to look at our own national interests and losses.’ The debate was moderated by Chairperson SBF Asif Khan.
