ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly (NA) at start of its 26th session on Monday evening is likely to hold detailed discussion on the ongoing Middle East situation.
However, according to the order released by the National Assembly secretariat, the government will introduce five bills on Monday.
Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Aurengzeb will introduce the Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finance) (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
Minister for Power Awais Khan Leghari will introduce the Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Naqvi will introduce the Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
The PMLN MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan on a calling attention notice will raise issue of exhorbitant tution fees and annunal charges being collected by universitities, colleges and schools in Islamabad.
Debate on President Asif Zardari’s address to joint sitting of Parliament is also remain on orders of the day throughout the session except from the private members days.
