Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi appealed for observing Earth Hour here on Saturday, saying that a one-hour sacrifice is essential for environmental protection.
The governor said energy conservation is the guarantee of a bright and secure future, and citizens should show responsibility by turning off unnecessary lights. He said that the lights at the Governor’s House will also remain off from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.
