A motorcyclist was killed and another injured after a speeding water tanker hit their motorcycle in the Sachal area of Karachi, police said.
The tragic accident occurred near Khas Kheli Goth within the jurisdiction of the Sachal police station. Rescue officials transported the casualties to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased was identified as 47-year-old Akram, son of Sahib, while the injured was identified as 43-year-old Shaban, son of Luqman.
Following the accident, the tanker driver attempted to flee along with the vehicle. However, police chased and intercepted the tanker, arresting the driver, identified as Haider, son of Fazal.
