Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Women Wing staged a protest demonstration here Friday against inhuman conviction of Asiya Andrabi, head of Dukhtran-e-Kashmir and her associates by an Indian court.
The speakers while addressing the protestors in front of the National Press Club, condemned conviction of Kashmiri women leaders terming the same as against all norms of human rights and international laws.
Deputy secretaries of JI Women Wing Ayesha Syed and Iffat Sajjad and JI Islamabad leader, Bilquees Saif Qudsia Namoos, Member Central Shoora Zubaida Khatoon, Hurriyat leader Shamim Shawl, Islamabad ameer Nasarullah Randhawa and secretary general Zubair Safdar addressed the protestors.
