The Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) has announced the appointment of Dr Asghar Zaidi as its new rector.
Dr Zaidi, an Oxford-trained economist with over three decades of experience in academia, public policy and institutional leadership, brings with him an extensive portfolio of international and local expertise. Prior to this appointment, he served as provost at the University of Management and Technology. He has also held the position of vice chancellor at the Government College University Lahore and has been associated with leading global institutions, including Seoul National University, the University of Southampton and the London School of Economics.
