LAHORE:Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat chaired an All Punjab Commissioners' meeting to review arrangements for the upcoming matriculation examinations across Punjab starting today (Friday).
The minister directed strict monitoring of examination centres to ensure transparency, instructing all commissioners, deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners and officers to remain in the field and conduct surprise visits.
He emphasised that paper leakage and cheating mafias were 'unacceptable' and ordered foolproof arrangements for sensitive centres and hard areas, including safety measures and functional CCTV cameras. Rana Sikandar Hayat highlighted that this year marks the introduction of e-marking for matric exams.
