LAHORE:The School Education Department has dismissed a fake notification circulating on social media claiming that all schools in Punjab would remain closed from April 6 to April 25, 2026, due to rising petrol prices. The Education Minister’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Noor Ul Huda termed the document 'fabricated' and confirmed to media that no such decision has been taken. He urged the general public to rely only on verified announcements and avoid sharing misleading content.
