ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan, a Grade 21 officer of the Police Service, as the IG of Pakistan Railways Police.Sultan was posted in the National Highways and Motorway Police. The Establishment Division has issued a notification. It may be recalled that Railway Police Inspector General Rai Tahir had retired in February 2026 after completing his term.
