KARACHI: Renewable energy solutions provider Solcraft and AI-powered mobility platform ORKO have announced a strategic partnership to deploy 500 electric vehicle chargers across Pakistan within two years, as part of a broader collaboration spanning fleet management and real-time fuel analytics, said a statement on Wednesday.
The tie-up is billed as Pakistan’s first fully integrated solution combining physical charging infrastructure with a digital intelligence layer, positioning the partners to serve a wide client base that includes charging infrastructure operators, fuel retailers, logistics companies, automotive original equipment manufacturers and public sector institutions.
The announcement comes at a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s transport and energy sectors. The government’s National Electric Vehicle Policy 2025-2030 has set an ambitious target of 30 per cent EV sales by 2030 and requires oil marketing companies to install Level 3 fast-charging infrastructure across their retail networks. A parallel policy push towards digitisation of the oil and gas supply chain adds further urgency to integrated solutions of the kind the partners are offering.
ORKO brings to the partnership an AI-driven software platform covering EV charging operations, fleet automation, and fuel analytics. Solcraft contributes a track record in deploying energy infrastructure at scale. Together, the companies say they can offer clients end-to-end capability across both the physical and digital dimensions of Pakistan’s evolving mobility landscape.
