SUKKUR: The police have arrested a prisoner who escaped from the premises of the District and Sessions Court, Naushehro Feroze.
He was brought from the district jail to appear in the court.
SSP Naushehro Feroze Mir Rohal Khan Khoso immediately issued orders for action against the responsible officials and rearrest of the prisoner, Sikandar Marri.
According to the initial investigation, the police personnel on duty, ASI Nazir Ahmed Sial, Head Constable Muhammad Umar Solangi, and Constable Waqar Ahmed Rajput, showed negligence in the performance of their duties, for which they were immediately detailed to the quarter guard. A case has been registered against them.
