QUETTA: Two coal miners died after toxic gas accumulated inside a coal mine in Duki district, on Thursday.
Police said the incident took place in the Chamalang area of Duki, where poisonous gas suddenly built up inside the mine. As a result, both workers fell unconscious and could not survive. Rescue teams and fellow miners retrieved the bodies from the mine. After completing legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the bereaved families.
