Rawalpindi:Commissioner and Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak has directed that Matriculation (First Annual) Examinations 2026 be conducted under a zero-tolerance policy to ensure transparency, organisation and merit.
The chairman said the directives were in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aiming to ensure a fair and cheating-free examination environment for students, says a press release issued here on Tuesday.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan said a total of 401 examination centres have been established across Rawalpindi Division, including 148 for female students, 138 for male students and 113 combined centres, while two centres have also been set up in jails.
He added that roll number slips have been issued to all candidates. He said candidates can contact the Controller of Examinations office or the matric branch for further information and guidance, and are advised to regularly visit the official website of BISE Rawalpindi for updates. It is worth mentioning that board exams will be commenced from March 27.
