LAHORE:A meeting was held in the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique regarding health development projects.
Punjab Health Secretary Azmat Mahmood attended the meeting. Special Secretary Operations Nabila Irfan, Special Secretary Development Ahmed Kamal, Additional Secretary Amira Bidar and other officers concerned also attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the establishment of academic blocks and hostels in Nawaz Sharif Medical District Lahore, Centre of Excellence for Nursing Education Rawalpindi, Medical College Okara, Medical College Bahawalnagar, establishment of Children’s Hospital Rawalpindi, establishment of Teaching Hospital Sialkot, establishment of burn units in Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan and BV Hospital Bahawalpur, increase in critical care services in teaching hospitals and other projects.
