While the federal government has massively increased fuel prices due to the war on Iran, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has provided some relief. It is offering a Rs2200 petrol subsidy to motorcycle riders. This is a generous gesture and an act of sympathy.
The federal and other provincial governments should also come forward like the KP government and announce reasonable relief packages for ordinary people affected by the heavy increase in fuel prices.
