BARA: Three persons were killed and another sustained injuries when a mortar shell fell on a house in Maidan area in Tirah Valley on Wednesday, sources said.
It was learnt that one Niazbad Shah family members were at home when a mortar shell fired from an undisclosed location fell on his house in Sarey Kandao area in Tirah Valley.
As a result, three people were killed on the spot and another sustained injuries.
Soon after the incident, the local people rushed to the place and retrieved the bodies and rescued the injured.
The injured was taken to Mashti Hospital in Orakzai district wherefrom he was shifted to Kohat in a critical condition.
The identity of the injured and deceased persons could not be confirmed due to lack of communication.
