Police get crime scene protection kits

LAHORE:On the directions of IG Abdul Kareem, Crime Scene Protection Kits have been provided to vehicles of 747 police stations across the province, including Lahore.

A Punjab Police spokesperson said that special kits consisting of crime scene long cones, cordon tape and markers have been placed in the vehicle of every police station. The IG said crime scene protection is a fundamental component of investigation and proper and timely preservation of the scene ensures that evidence remains intact, which helps further improve the standard of investigation.

Additional IG Investigation Shahzada Sultan said that police officers are being provided special training as first responders and for this purpose 500 master trainers have already been prepared.
