LGH upgrades physiotherapy department

LAHORE:The Physiotherapy Department of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has been significantly upgraded with the installation of three state-of-the-art machines, including advanced Ultrasound and Paraffin Wax Therapy equipment, donated by philanthropists.

Inaugurating the new facilities at LGH, the Principal Prof Farooq Afzal said on the occasion that this modern machinery will provide outstanding rehabilitation services to patients of Orthopedics, General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, helping those with chronic joint pain avoid permanent disability through specialised clinical exercises.

While addressing the media and participants, Prof Farooq Afzal lauded the spirit of the philanthropists. He issued directives to the hospital admin to ensure the entry of all donated equipment into the official stock registers, stressing that transparency and effective monitoring are essential to maintaining the trust of the donor community.
