The second Ashra of Ramazan holds a very special place in the hearts of Muslims. Known as the Ashra of Forgiveness (Maghfirah), these ten days remind us that no matter how many mistakes we have made, the doors of mercy and forgiveness are always open. During this period, people focus more deeply on repentance and self-reflection. It is a time to sincerely ask Allah for forgiveness and to promise ourselves that we will try to become better human beings. Along with fasting, Muslims increase their prayers, recite the Holy Quran more regularly and engage in acts of kindness and charity. The second Ashra teaches us that forgiveness is not only about seeking pardon from Allah but also about forgiving others. Letting go of anger, repairing broken relationships and helping those in need are all part of the true spirit of these blessed days. In a world often filled with stress, competition and misunderstandings, the message of forgiveness is powerful and necessary.
