The targeted killing and assassination of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by the US and Israel has left the people of Iran, and many others across the globe, in a state of mourning. Russia, China and many other countries have condemned this cowardly, hideous and barbaric act. The late supreme leader was a man of iron will, steadfastness and resistance. He refused to surrender and bow before the fascist imperial forces and laid down his life for his country and principles. The Iranians have decided to thwart the aggressors’ sinister goals with bravery and valour. The leadership of Iran and its people can be attacked, but their unwavering will and spirit can never be defeated.
