National T20 Championship returns to Peshawar after venue changes

ISLAMABAD: In yet another change of hearts, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shifted the National T20 Championship venue again, taking the event to its original venue, Imran Khan Stadium, Peshawar.

As the majority of the teams were about to reach Multan following the first change from Rawalpindi, these teams were asked to report at Peshawar from March 7 with the match between Peshawar and Lahore Whites.

The day’s second match will see Karachi Whites playing against Faisalabad. Following ten days of action, semi-finals are will be held on March 17 with the final to be played on March 18. The tournament will feature 10 regional teams divided into two groups.

Group A includes Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Karachi Whites, and Bahawalpur.

Group B includes defending champions Lahore Blues, Sialkot, Multan, Abbottabad and Karachi Blues.
