PCB retains Hesson for Bangladesh tour

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has retained Mike Hesson as the white-ball head coach for the ODI tour to Bangladesh negating all rumors surrounding his ouster.

The decision was taken Thursday, Mike Hesson, Ashley Noffke, Shane McDermott , Cliffe Deacon and Grant Luden will join the squad in Dhaka.

Pakistan men’s cricket team will commence its training camp ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh from Friday, 6th March 2026, with players assembling in Karachi on 5th March Pakistan ODI squad will train at Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre Karachi from 1600–1930 hrs.

Besides retaining Hesson, the PCB also announced team management for the tour replacing Naveed Akram Cheema with Irtaza Kumailmas Manager.Full team management for the Bangladesh tour is:

Irtaza Kumail (team manager), Mike Hesson (head coach), Ashley Noffke (bowling coach), Shane McDermott (fielding coach), Hanif Malik (batting coach), Cliffe Deacon (physiotherapist), Grant Luden (strength and conditioning coach), Talha Ejaz (performance analyst), Syed Naeem Ahmed (media manager), Salman Liaqat (security manager), Dr Wajid Ali Rafai (team doctor) and Muhammad Ehsan (masseur).
