Business community urged to drive Pak economic growth

Islamabad:Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the business community is the backbone of Pakistan’s economic development, says a press release.

He stated that the government is taking practical steps to introduce business-friendly policies, promote investment, and ensure economic stability.He expressed these views while addressing an Iftar dinner hosted by UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, Ahsan Bakhtawari, and Waqar Bakhtawari as the chief guest. On the occasion, the guest of honor was the President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Atif Ikram Sheikh.

In his address, the Federal Minister said that such gatherings play an important role in strengthening mutual relations and promoting national unity. He appreciated the hospitality of the Bakhtawari family and termed it commendable.

Chairman of the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement Clean and Green Islamabad Movement and host Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari thanked all the distinguished guests on behalf of his family for attending the event.

He said that Ramadan teaches us unity, brotherhood, and service, and prayed that Almighty Allah may grant Pakistan progress, prosperity, and stability.

He reaffirmed the resolve that the business community will continue to play its full role, in collaboration with the government, for strengthening the national economy, promoting investment, and stabilizing business activities.

Among those present were Senator General Abdul Qayyum, MPA Malik Iftikhar, Zamarrud Khan, Council Members of the Islamabad Chamber Zubair Ahmed Malik, Khalid Javed, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Ijaz Abbasi, Aamir Waheed, Mian Akram Fareed, Chaudhry Masood, Shaukat Masood, Chaudhry Waheed-ud-Din, Senior Vice President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tahir Ayub, Zahid Bakhtawari, Haris , along with members of the business community and other distinguished personalities from various walks of life.
