The Sindh Home Department has revoked the operating licences of 43 private security companies in Sindh.
These companies had been providing private guards and security services to various private institutions. According to the home department, the licences and no objection certificates issued to these companies for operating in the province have been cancelled under Rule 10, due to their failure to comply with the Private Security Agencies Regulation and Control Ordinance. The decision effectively bars the companies from offering security services anywhere in Sindh.
