ISLAMABAD: Senate Opposition Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said in the House on Monday that President Donald Trump did not care for the world institutions, only considers his wishes to be law and his actions were causing instability in the world.

The House offered Fateha for the departed soul of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei, who was martyred in strikes by joint US-Israeli in his Tehran office a day earlier.

The orders of the day, listed for the private members day, were deferred to debate the Iran situation, arising out of the martyrdom of the top Iranian leader. Taking the floor, Allama Nasir Abbas strongly condemned the assassination of the Ayatullah and pointed out that late Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenei had previously said that they would not make chemical weapons, and hence the issue was not of Iran going nuclear.

In contrast, he contended that the words of America and Israel have no credibility, as they announced occupying more countries to implement their plan of so-called ‘Greater Israel’.

“Crores of Shiites follow Ayatullah Khamenei and killing him is the same as killing the Pope of Vatican City. No man in the world can have the courage to do this. We strongly condemn this attack on the top Iranian leader, who did not run away anywhere; he was martyred in his office. America should understand that it has done us a great harm,” he asserted.

He stated that (Israeli PM) Netanyahu had said that he would continue to build a ‘Greater Israel’ while the US ambassador also recently said that they would occupy everywhere, including Saudi Arabia.

“Such a person has assumed power in America who is creating instability in the world on the basis of force. Previously, issues were used to be referred to these institutions, which have been abolished and instead of these institutions, Donald Trump’s wishes prevail, as he considers his desire to be the law,” he charged.

Shedding light on the background of the crisis, he said that the neighbouring Arab countries had advised Iran to negotiate to which it had agreed despite they (Iranians) had been deceived before but it started negotiations with the United States in Geneva and it was said that the negotiations are going well. But all of a sudden, he noted, America and Israel unleashed aggression on Iran and then they attacked Ayatollah Khamenei’s office and assassinated him, which is vehemently condemned.

He cautioned: “Iran is such a wall that if it falls, Israel will reach our borders. This is the problem of the entire Muslim Ummah and not confined to Tehran. When Israel came with troops, no country stopped it, so its courage increased to this level”. About the killings of some protestors in Karachi and in Islamabad, he lamented that “if there is a protest, you shoot it in the head. There are other ways to stop it”. The House was later adjourned to meet now again on Tuesday morning and the day has been fixed to take up the private members business.
