RAWALPINDI: PTI founder chairman Imran Khan’s sister Noreen Niazi Tuesday sustained injuries after falling into an under-construction sewer near the Adiala jail.
She was walking towards the jail for a possible meeting with Imran when she fell into the sewer, injuring her hands, feet and nose. Eyewitnesses said bystanders immediately pulled her out of the drain.
Another woman, Sadaf Abbasi, accompanying her also fell into the sewer and was injured. Both were shifted to hospital.
