ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a series of appointments and transfers in the bureaucracy, according to official notifications issued by the Establishment Division on Monday.
Mussadiq Ahmed Khan, a Grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, and former chairman of the Pakistan Tobacco Board, has been appointed as Secretary, National Food Security and Research Division.
Muhammad Shahid Hussain, a Grade-21 officer of the Secretariat Group and Chief Executive Officer of thePakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF), has been appointed as chairman of the Pakistan Tobacco Board. He has also been assigned additional charge as CEO of PHAF.
Meanwhile, the services of Beenish Noor, a Grade-18 officer of the Office Management Group (OMG) posted at the National Highway Authority (NHA), have been returned to the Establishment Division. Similarly, Muhammad Tayyab Tarar, a Grade-17 OMG officer serving at the NHA, has also been directed to report back to the Establishment Division.The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding these appointments and transfers.
