LAHORE:Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, in a statement issued from Mansoorah on the advent of the holy month of Ramazan, extended heartfelt greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah, urging people to make this blessed month a means of self-purification, social reform, and collective welfare.
He said Ramazan is a month of piety, patience, sincerity, sacrifice and a renewed bond with the Holy Quran. He called upon individuals to focus not only on personal spiritual growth but also on helping the needy, promoting compassion, and strengthening social solidarity.The JI Emir said Ramazan teaches steadfastness on truth and resistance against unjust and obsolete systems.
