LAHORE: Bahawalpur won the weightlifting event of the Chief Minister Punjab Pink Games here on Friday.
Gujranwala secured second place while Lahore finished third.
The Mas- Wrestling event of Pink Games also concluded with enthusiastic participation from all nine divisions of Punjab, marking a significant step forward in the promotion of traditional sports among women.
Dr Suleman Sultan Rana (DIG Establishment-I) was the chief guest at the concluding ceremonies.
Other guests of honour included Rana Nadeem Anjum (Director Sports Punjab), Rana Hammad (DO DG Khan) and Malik Shahbaz (President Punjab Traditional Sports), Nawab Furqan Khan, President of the Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation and Vice President of the Asian Mas-Wrestling Federation.
