Hassan enters semis in PSO Tennis Championship

KARACHI: M Hassan Usmani moved into the semifinals of under-18 singles in the PSO National Ranking Tennis Championship at Karachi Club here on Thursday.

In the quarterfinals of under-18, Hassan thrashed Rashid Ali Bachani 6-0, 6-1. Similarly, Rashid Ali smashed Hasham Ahmed 4-0, 4-0 and Meer Abbas beat Aadam Shafi 4-0, 4-1 in the quarterfinals of under-14 singles.

In the second round of men’s singles, Muzammil Murtaza thrashed Haziq Areejo 6-1, 6-1, Mudassir Murtaza smashed M Yahya 6-0, 6-0, Ahmed Nael beat Ruhab Faisal 6-2, 6-0, M Sohaib defeated Saifullah 6-2, 6-4, and Sami Zeb won against Salman Tahir 6-0, 6-0.
