LAHORE: The Diamond Paints Polo Cup 2026 continued with thrilling action at Jinnah Polo Fields, where FG Polo secured a convincing 8-5 victory over Team Balochistan on the second day of the tournament.

The 10-goal competition, sponsored by Diamond Paints, has already attracted significant attention from polo enthusiasts and families, with matches combining competitive spirit and entertainment. The day’s proceedings were graced by Diamond Paints CEO Mir Shoaib Ahmed, Director Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, Club Secretary Maj (R) Adil Sultan Rao, former polo players, and a large crowd of spectators. In the only match of the day, FG Polo showcased exceptional teamwork and attacking flair. Raja Mikayial Sami and Marcos Rivarola were the standout performers, scoring three goals each. Their dominance was complemented by Abdul Rehman Monnoo and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad, who added one goal apiece to seal the win. Team Balochistan, however, fought valiantly, with Raja Samiullah delivering a remarkable individual performance by scoring all five of his team’s goals. Despite his brilliance, Balochistan struggled to match FG Polo’s coordinated play and relentless offensive pressure.

The victory strengthens FG Polo’s position in the tournament, while Team Balochistan will look to regroup and bounce back in their upcoming fixtures. The Diamond Paints Polo Cup 2026 continues to highlight the growing popularity of polo in Lahore.
