KARACHI: MCB Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Garaj, a cloud and cybersecurity service by JazzWorld, and global technology firm Fortinet to enhance the performance, security and resilience of its enterprise network infrastructure.

The collaboration aims to modernise the bank’s wide area network using Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN technology, enabling integrated security, improved connectivity and uninterrupted banking services across MCB’s nationwide branch network. The system incorporates Zero-Trust Network Access, advanced threat protection, automated failover and application-aware routing to ensure reliable operations.

Under the agreement, Garaj and Fortinet will work alongside MCB’s internal technology teams to provide managed services and network optimisation, with a focus on strengthening enterprise-grade connectivity, improving operational visibility and reducing system complexity. The initiative is designed to support the bank’s long-term digital transformation goals while maintaining a secure and scalable technology environment.
