QUETTA: The Balochistan government has published the names and photographs of 39 individuals in newspapers, declaring them as “most-wanted terrorists” and offering rewards for information leading to their capture.

The list includes prominent figures such as Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) chief Bashir Zeb, Majid Brigade commander Rehman Gul, Harbiyar Marri and Brahamdagh Bugti.

A half-page advertisement appeared in major Quetta newspapers on Wednesday under the headline “Most-Wanted Terrorists,” providing names, aliases, addresses and photographs with rewards range from Rs5 lakh to Rs25 crore, totaling Rs1.38 billion. It has been announced that the verified tips will be acted upon immediately, and informants’ identities will remain confidential. Two helpline numbers—1719 and 1213—have been provided.

The highest bounties of Rs25 crore each have been set for Bashir Zeb and Rehman Gul, both reportedly from Nushki, and Rs15 crore each has been offered for Nadeem alias Qambar and Mir Safeer Ahmad, whose current residence is reported in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Rewards for Harbiyar Marri and Brahamdagh Bugti are Rs10 lakh each, while two of Brahamdagh Bugti’s close associates, Riaz Gul and Sher Muhammad Bugti, carry Rs25 lakh rewards.

Authorities said all names are on the Counter-Terrorism Department’s “Red List,” and the public is being asked to assist in locating them. Bashir Zeb and Rehman Gul’s previous bounties — Rs20 lakh and Rs10 lakh, respectively — have now been raised to Rs25 crore each.
