KARACHI: Two young singers, Mirab Javilin and Mehtab Ali, were eliminated from Pakistan’s most popular music reality show Pakistan Idol following the judges’ decision and low public voting during the recent episode.
A special Basant-themed show was held on the occasion, where the competing contestants performed traditional and melodious Basant songs. Judge Zeib Bangash further enhanced the atmosphere by presenting a song in her soulful voice, while the other judges also appreciated and encouraged the young singers for their performances. At the end of the show, the three contestants placed in the bottom three were called on stage. As a result of the judges’ decision and insufficient public votes, Mirab Javilian and Mehtab Ali were eliminated from the competition, while Faryal Amber received a lifeline and was saved for the next round.
The eliminated contestants bid farewell to their fellow participants with tearful eyes. On the occasion, the judges praised their efforts and encouraged them to continue pursuing their musical journey. It is worth mentioning that Pakistan Idol airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 pm on Geo TV.
