Rawalpindi:A grand welfare ceremony was held here Sunday where Ramzan ration packages were distributed among deserving families, says a press release.
The event was led by Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Minority Alliance Nadeem Bhatti and was attended by prominent political, social, and community figures.Speakers at the simple ceremony lauded his consistent political and social services, describing him as an effective and dynamic spokesperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party who has taken practical steps for the protection and promotion of minority rights. They stressed that his efforts reflect genuine commitment beyond rhetoric. Malik Khalid Nawaz Bobby, while addressing the gathering, praised Bhatti’s leadership and welfare initiatives, stating that his role as a strong voice for minorities within the PPP has contributed significantly to addressing long-standing issues faced by marginalized communities.
Raja Imran Ashraf said that the Pakistan Peoples Party, in line with the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, fully believes in respecting and safeguarding the rights of all minorities in Pakistan, particularly the Christian community.
He emphasized that the PPP ensures equal rights, resources, and opportunities for all citizens without discrimination. Addressing the ceremony, Bhatti said that his family has been associated with the Pakistan Peoples Party for the past 35 years.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to Pakistan and the Pakistan Peoples Party, stating that the party’s manifesto has always served as a protective shield for oppressed and marginalized classes. He also demanded from the top leadership and ruling authorities that Christians be granted the right to separate elections so that they may choose their own representatives and effectively demonstrate their political and social capabilities.
