LAHORE:Several citizens were deprived of cash, gold, mobile phones, motorcycles, cars and other valuables in different incidents here on Wednesday.
In Lower Mall area, robbers made off with cash amounting to Rs300,000, mobile phones and other items from Faizan. In Shahdara, Ilyas was deprived of Rs275,000 and a mobile phone, while in Shalimar, Zahid was robbed of Rs250,000 along with his mobile phone. Similarly, in Mustafa Abad, Tanveer lost Rs235,000 and a mobile phone to armed robbers. In Nawab Town, Kashif was looted of Rs185,000, a mobile phone and other belongings.
Meanwhile, car thefts were reported from Ghaziabad and Township. Motorcycles were stolen from Lytton Road, Multan Park and Iqbal Town. Police said investigations were under way into the incidents.
