Army clinch 4th National Fitness Challenge Championship

ISLAMABAD: Army stamped its authority on the national fitness stage by clinching the 4th National Fitness Challenge Championship with a dominant haul of 16 gold medals at Qayyum Stadium Peshawar.

The two-day Championship was organized by the Pakistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (PBBF) and featured participation from teams representing Pakistan Army, Police, WAPDA, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad.

In the Masters Category, Olympian Sadaf Siddiqui emerged as the star performer, securing three gold and one silver medal, while Havaldar Maqbool Ahmed added two gold medals to the Army’s tally. The senior category saw Ronak Ali claiming two gold medals, whereas Inamullah grabbed two gold medals in the Masters division. Khadija Waheed and Abrar Mohiuddin further strengthened the Army’s dominance by winning a combined total of six gold medals in the junior and team fit categories.

Police finished second overall with an impressive collection of two gold, three silver and three bronze medals, while Punjab secured third position with one gold and one bronze medal. The closing ceremony was graced by President PBBF Tariq Pervaiz as the chief guest, who distributed medals among the outstanding athletes and lauded their performances. Pakistan Army delivered a stellar show across men’s and women’s categories, collecting 16 gold and 10 silver medals to comfortably top the standings.
