LAHORE:The Office of the Deputy Commissioner Lahore has issued a notification imposing restrictions on kite flying in specific areas during the Basant Festival 2026.
According to the notification, kite flying will not be permitted in areas falling within the aircraft approach and take-off paths of Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore on February 6, 7 and 8, 2026.
The restricted areas include Nadirabad, Gulshan Ali Colony, Nishat Colony, Bhatta Chowk, and DHA Lahore (Blocks R, S, P, and Q), Al-Faisal Town, Jorraypul, Canal Bank Road (adjacent to Tajpura), and Tajpura.
