40 officers of PSP, PAS promoted to Grade-18

ISLAMABAD: Officers of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) have been promoted to Grade-18, along with postings and transfers of some officers.

The federal government has promoted 14 officers of PSP and 22 officers of PAS from Grade-17 to Grade-18. The promotions were approved by the Departmental Promotion Committee at a meeting held at the Establishment Division on January 13.

In Police Service of Pakistan, Reesham Jahangir, posted with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to continue serving with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. Syeda Shehr Bano, Zainab Ayub and Anam Sher, posted with Punjab government, have been promoted to Grade-18 and instructed to continue their services with Punjab government.

Dania Rana, posted with Punjab government, has been promoted to Grade-18 and, after promotion, her services have been transferred from Punjab government to Sindh government.

Police Service officers posted with the Balochistan government — Muhammad Maarij Jaleel, Saad Afridi, Muaz-ur-Rehman, Itizaz Arif, Ayaz Khan, Captain (retd) Nabeel Ahmed, Muhammad Nauman Zafar, Atiq-ur-Rehman, and Usman Aziz Mir — have also been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to continue serving with the Balochistan government.

Separate notifications have been issued for promotion of 22 officers of Pakistan Administrative Service to Grade-18. Aziz Ali Khan, posted with Islamabad Administration, has been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to continue serving in Islamabad. Ali Ahmed, Hamza Murad, and Neelam Ali, posted with Gilgit-Baltistan government, have been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to report to Establishment Division.

Muhammad Talha Asad Khan and Lieutenant (retd) Muhammad Owais, also posted in Gilgit-Baltistan, have been promoted to Grade-18 and instructed to report to the Establishment Division.

Additionally, Shehryar, Waqas Malook, and Madiha Narijo, posted with Sindh government, have been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to continue serving with Sindh government. Farwah Batool, at the disposal of Establishment Division, has been promoted to Grade-18 and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), while Ms Nehal Abdullah, OSD in Establishment Division, has also been promoted to Grade-18.

Moreover, Nadeem Baloch and Abdul Basit Siddiqui have been promoted to Grade-18 and transferred from Punjab government to Sindh government, while Anam Babar and Faisal Ahmed, after promotion to Grade-18, have been directed to continue serving with Punjab government.

Likewise, officers posted with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government — Azza Irshad, Basharat Bibi, Ahmed Mughees, and Muhammad Hamza Abbas — have been promoted to Grade-18 and instructed to continue serving with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

Officers posted with Balochistan government — Muhammad Haseeb Shuja, Khalid Shams, and Captain (retd) Hamza Anjum — have also been promoted to Grade-18 and directed to continue their services with the Balochistan government.
