ALPURI: One person was killed and three others sustained injuries when a jeep plunged into a ravine in Lal Khani area of Alpuri tehsil in Shangla district on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, the jeep was on its way from Alpuri to Lal Khani when the driver lost control due to slippery road conditions, resulting in the fatal accident.
Upon receiving information, Rescue 1122 immediately dispatched an ambulance and a medical response team to the scene. The injured were provided first aid on the spot and later shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Alpuri, for further treatment. Hospital sources said that the condition of the injured was stated to be stable and out of danger.
The deceased was identified as Rozi Rehman, son of Malezay, a resident of Lari.
