ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Justice Committee will be held on Thursday (today) at Islamabad High Court under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar.
An eight-point agenda has been issued for the meeting, covering a wide range of judicial, legal, and security matters. Key items include a review of progress on the construction of Islamabad Model Jail, discussions on the Jail Reforms Sub-Committee, and deliberations on the National Prison Reform Action Plan.
The committee will also assess the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, including updates on the Safe City Project. Security arrangements for courts and judges’ residences will be reviewed, along with an evaluation of the performance of the Islamabad Prosecution Wing. The meeting will further consider urgent steps to prevent terrorism in Islamabad and explore the use of modern technology and digital methods to strengthen law enforcement and improve public safety in the federal capital.
