ADB keen to fund National Flood Telemetry Project

LAHORE: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has assured the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) of funding the climate-resilient projects, particularly the Naulong Dam and National Flood Telemetry projects, in the country.

ADB Director for Central and West Asia Jiangfeng Zhang, along with his team, called on Wapda Chairman Lt-Gen (retd) Muhammad Saeed at the Wapda House, here. Matters relating to providing funds for Naulong Dam and National Flood Telemetry projects were discussed in detail during the meeting. Wapda Members (Finance, Water and Power) and other senior officers also attended the meeting.
