HPSAA moot discusses leadership and economic challenges

The Habib Public School Alumni Association (HPSAA) organized the Habibian Leadership Conference 2026, bringing together distinguished Habibian alumni from Pakistan’s trade, industry, policy, and corporate sectors to deliberate on leadership, economic challenges, and Pakistan’s future in a volatile global environment.

The conference featured two panel discussions and a keynote address via Zoom by Husain Haqqani, said a press release issued on Wednesday.

The first panel, “Leadership in a Disruptive World & Pakistan’s Economic Future,” included Nazim F. Haji, Shahid Hafeez Kardar, and Dr. Junaid Ahmed, while the second panel, “Building Legacy Organizations: From Family Enterprises to Global Corporations,” featured Farooq Nazir , Abrar Hasan, Shahbaz Malik, and Syed Faraz Ali. The sessions were moderated by renowned PTV anchor Farooq Hasan.

During interactive Q&A sessions, notable contributions were made by Mohammad Habib, President Habib Bank AG Zurich), Tahir Ahmed, Ahsan Saleem , Aftab Tapal , and Shahida Wizarat, highlighting governance, education, innovation, and economic reforms.

The conference concluded with closing remarks and the presentation of mementos by HPS Trustees Abbas D Habib, Mohammad Habib, and Kumail Habib, marking the event as a significant platform for thought leadership, dialogue, and collective reflection on Pakistan’s economic and institutional future.
